Camp 1
Splash Pool & Family‑Friendly
Camp 1 is ideal for families and groups wanting space to spread out and a relaxed central hub with river views. The camp sleeps up to 12 guests in a mix of chalets and tents, all set close to the water and a splash pool for cooling off between game viewing and braais.
- 3 chalets, including 1 family chalet (1 king bed + 2 single beds) and 2 double chalets (2 single beds each).
- 2 tented chalets sleeping 4 guests in total, with shared ablution.
- Ensuite bathrooms in chalets with hot showers.
- Communal area with kitchen, braai, splash pool, outdoor lounge and fire pit.
- Fully equipped kitchen: gas cooker/oven, fridge and freezer, pots, pans, utensils and cutlery.
Camp 2
Canvas, Stars & River Breeze
Camp 2 offers a more intimate, under‑canvas experience while still providing modern comforts and ensuite bathrooms. With just two tented chalets tucked among the trees, it’s perfect for smaller groups or couples seeking a quieter corner of the island.
- 2 tented chalets, each sleeping 2 guests.
- Ensuite bathrooms with hot showers.
- Access to shared kitchen, braai, and communal fire area.
- Close to the riverbank and prime elephant crossing points.

- Exclusive use of your chosen camp (Camp 1, Camp 2 or both, depending on your booking).
- Accommodation in chalets or safari tents with beds, linen and towels.
- Use of fully equipped kitchen, braai facilities and communal areas.
- Basic lighting and hot water.
What to bring.
- All your own food and drinks.
- Charcoal or firewood for braai (can be arranged on request if available).
- Personal toiletries, sunscreen, insect repellent and any medications.
- Binoculars, cameras and fishing tackle if you plan to fish.

Our rates reflect our commitment to offering affordable, quality stays at one of the only true self‑catering camps in the Lower Zambezi GMA. A minimum of 6 guests in Camp 1 and 4 guests in Camp 2 (or the equivalent charge) is required to secure your private island camp booking.

Rates apply to self‑catering accommodation only and exclude boat hire, fuel, national park fees and transfers.
Boat Hire & River Transfers.
If you do not have your own boat, we can arrange transfers to Tsika Island from key launch points on the Zambezi.
Boat transfers (one way or return) can be arranged from:
- Gwabi – approx. 145 USD per trip.
- Kiambi – approx. 120 USD per trip.
- Woods Camp – approx. 50 USD per trip.
- Mukuyu (4×4 required) – approx. 30 USD per trip.
Fuel is charged separately for boat hire; park fees are not included where applicable.
